To transfer files between your computer and xlogin, I recommend one of the following methods. Others are also possible, such as using cloud storage facilities.
Use the SSH client, mentioned above. You will find a yellow symbol with blue dots on it in the row of buttons across the top of the screen. Click on that. It opens a file transfer window. The left-hand panel shows files on your computer. The right-hand panel shows files on the server. Drag files from one panel to the other to transfer them.
Use a tool such as WinSCP, designed for Windows, or some other file transfer client.
