2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. C: CSCI 1000. Implementing and testing basic algorithms using a high-level programming language.
This is a lab course which is a corequisite to CSCI 1000. Programming assignments are instructor-led during the lab meeting. A lab session consists of the instructor introducing one or more new programming assignments which are to be completed, along with concepts and techniques which can be used to help solve the problems presented. The remainder of the lab period is designed for students to work independently on their assignments with assistance from the instructor as needed.
As this course counts for no credit, there are no grades specifically given for this course. Assignments given during the lab sessions are to be counted toward a portion of the grade in the CSCI 1000 course.
