The presentation received a score of 18 or above. Satisfactory. The oral presentation meets at least 75% of the following competencies. Each competency can receive a score of exceeds (3 points), meets (2 points), or does not meet (1 point). Thus, the maximum score a speech can receive is 24; and the minimum score is 8.
The presentation received a score of 12 or above. Unsatisfactory. The oral presentation does not meet most of the following competencies. Each competency can receive a score of exceeds (3 points), meets (2 points), or does not meet (1 point). Thus, the maximum score a speech can receive is 24; and the minimum score is 8.
The presentation received a score of less than 12. GoalAt least 70% of students who pass CSCI 4230 are rated as either satisfactory or good and at least 30% rated as good. |
